Trev Murphy is a master craftsman when it comes to applying his finely detailed hues to some of pop culture's favorite subjects, and we're thrilled to count him among the many accomplished artists who will be exhibiting with us in the coming months.

Trev has worked for several years in the entertainment industry as a writer, animator, director, and actor, and four years ago he added sketch card artist to his already impressive resume.  It's easy to see why he instantly became a fan favorite with his vibrant contributions to official collector sets like Star WarsDexterThe Walking Dead and Army of Darkness.

While we've already seen his sinister piece for our upcoming January show, Weapon of Choice!, we're going to wait a little longer for the big reveal.  Let's just say it's worth the wait!  In the meantime check out some of his amazing work here and I've even heard he takes commissions so hit him up!

Thanks Trev, we're excited to have you be a part of these shows!

Bjorn Bauer, born in Germany, spent his childhood living abroad in the Philippines, Cambodia, and Malaysia, before becoming an art instructor at Edmond North High School in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he now resides with his wife and children. Bjorn’s love for art began at an early age, when he drew nearly everything in sight that excited and inspired him. Bjorn says that through his artwork, he seeks to provoke and engage viewers to achieve an emotional visual response to life and the world we live in. The human figure features prominently as the subject matter of his designs, as he skillfully manipulates line, shape, color, and texture to create captivating compositions for connecting his art with his viewers. Bjorn describes himself as an optimist, yet he feels his work is often somber, exploring dark and provocative content such as poverty, religion, the breakdown of community in our culture, yet he always strives to evoke an underlying feeling of hope in his work which transcends our struggles.

We are excited that Bjorn is exhibiting his thought-provoking artwork in our upcoming exhibitions. To see more of Bjorn’s work, please visit his website here.

Indy Lytle trained as a graphic designer at George Brown College before entering the art world as a pinup illustrator and graphic designer out of Toronto, Canada. She delights in teasing her audience with playful creations of innocence and fantasy, and we are excited to have her flirtatious skills applied to the many themes of our upcoming exhibitions.

Indy is strongly influenced by the talents of two of the most influential pinup artists of all time, Gil Elvgren, an early pioneer in the field who worked from the 1930's to the 1970's, and Adam Hughes, an American comic book artist famous for his renderings of pinup-style female characters such as Wonder Woman and Catwoman. Following directly in their footsteps, her work predominantly focuses on pop-based female characters re-envisioned as kick-ass femme fatales or mysterious yet alluring pinup models. To see more of her work you can view her portfolio here.

Thanks Indy, we're excited to have you be a part of these shows.....and anyone who shares the same name as Indiana Jones is ok with us!
